26 Weeks

So, we've been slackers at taking pictures of my growing belly. Believe me when I say that Lilli is growing!! I think she decides to do jumping jack at least once a day and she's the queen of having hiccups! Sorry for the delay of taking pictures, we'll try to do better! Enjoy!

Mr. Fix-It

I'm not exactly sure what to call the luck we've had recently with our house, but the word "good" would definitely not be it! After having to get a new washing machine, we had the run around with our air conditioner (which was not fun). Then, most recently, it's been the sprinkler system. The main line going into the sprinkler system burst and flooded the front and back yard. Brandon and Paul (one of our friends) worked long and hard on it one day and did such a great job at fixing it. I wanted to share some of the pictures of the handy work that they did! I was quite impressed!

The first picture is before they started. The crack is on the upper right hand curved piece which is also shown below.

Below is the finished product! They not only replaced the piping, but installed new regulator thingys as well (don't you just love my terminology for it). Oh and I forgot to mention, the hole was filled with water because right in the middle of fixing it, a huge thunderstorm came through and flooded everything all over again. But despite everything, I think they did a great job!

It's Coming Along!

Lilli's room is coming along! It's getting exciting to see how all of the little changes can make a big difference! Here's what we have done so far! First of all, Brandon laboriously painted the entire room blue to match the other bedrooms in our house (all the way up - cathedral ceiling)!!

These are the pictures of her crib (obviously). Mom and I made the bed skirt and the curtains for the room!

The area with the books is about where the glider is going to go (we've moved the crib around to the front wall - facing the window - and the swing is not in there anymore). And the changing table is on the other side of the window (next to the closet).

We installed some more shelving in the closet to allow for more "stuff." As you can see, it's starting to fill up already. A lot of the hang up clothes were mine as a baby that my mom passed on to me. You should be able to see all of these pictures bigger if you click on each one! Tell us what you think so far!
