Look what Lilli did on Christmas day!!!

A Very Merry Christmas!

Welcome to Christmas at our house!

Santa made it to our house a day early since Brandon had to work Christmas day.
Santa brought Lilli a Laugh and Learn Puppy!

This Christmas is very special simply because of this...

These are the presents that Lilli got so far! Thanks everyone!

Brandon got me aromatherapy socks - hence the following picture!

He also got me a new nativity - I'll post a picture of it out of the box soon! It's so pretty!

He also got me some more dishes that go with my Christmas plates that I've been collecting! Each bowl was filled with candy - yum!

I had fun with Brandon's present. I wrapped 17 different types of candy and put a saying on each one (i.e. "I'm so happy we're the 3 Musketeers now!"). I think he had fun opening each one!

To go with all of his candy, I got him 5 movies, too!

To say the least, we had a wonderful Christmas!

Lilli went to see Santa today!
She didn't have much to say about what she wanted this year. I'm sure this will all change very soon!

I think she was more interested in looking at the ceiling fan than at Santa! I can't wait to see how Lilli responds next year!!

For anyone who had doubts about just who Lilli looks like, we offer you this picture of Alexis when she was the same age as Lilli.

Haha! Brandon 1, Nature...5...maybe 6......

Last week Brandon decided to get a little ambitious and tackle the jungle that is the land behind our fence. There's still a lot of work to be done, but so far the results are looking pretty good!

This is a picture of a small sample of what's left to clear. It's going to be a long winter full of yard work...
To give you an idea of the density of brush Brandon had to deal with, he took pictures of one of his tools. Keep in mind that it was brand new just a few days ago. Also keep in mind that this is the second sling blade (the first one broke after only an hours worth of work!). The blade portion of this sling blade is actually supposed to be in line with the handle. As you can see, it is not.
Again, the blade is supposed to be perfectly straight.

Training for a Marathon?!

I took this video yesterday while Lilli was in her bouncy seat. I love to watch her "run" and sometimes I think she's training for a marathon as much as her little legs move. However, I have some sad news for her...if she takes after me (her mommy), she'll never run a marathon or a mile for that matter.

Saturday, November 15th, Hannah and Sean got married! We are so happy for them and look forward to many fun years ahead!

Little Miss Pouty Lip!

Maggie wants so bad to touch her. She will sit in one place and stretch her neck as far as it can go just to try to get close to Lilli. Daisy could care less - oh well!

The Great (Little) Pumpkin

We decided to take Lilli to the pumpkin patch the other day and have a little fun with her. Thanks to everyone who donated any part of her pumpkin outfit.

No, we didn't bring this basket with us. We really lucked out that this pumpkin patch had such a great setup.
