Haha! Brandon 1, Nature...5...maybe 6......

Last week Brandon decided to get a little ambitious and tackle the jungle that is the land behind our fence. There's still a lot of work to be done, but so far the results are looking pretty good!

Here are a couple of before shots of the yard. Pretty thick, huh?

Now here are the after pictures.

This is a picture of a small sample of what's left to clear. It's going to be a long winter full of yard work...
To give you an idea of the density of brush Brandon had to deal with, he took pictures of one of his tools. Keep in mind that it was brand new just a few days ago. Also keep in mind that this is the second sling blade (the first one broke after only an hours worth of work!). The blade portion of this sling blade is actually supposed to be in line with the handle. As you can see, it is not.
Again, the blade is supposed to be perfectly straight.
