A few weeks ago, we heard Daisy barking wildly at something around our back fence. We weren't sure what it was at first, but we soon realized it was this thing...A BABY OPOSSUM!
There were about 5 babies crawling around all over the place. They were learning how to climb trees after they were "nudged" out by mama!
Here's a pair that were inseparable - they looked like twins to me! They made a terrible clicking noise to each other and hissed at us! Mean little things!
And here's the reason for them all...MAMA! Soon after these pictures were taken, and after a few threats towards the babies from Lexy, mama opossum packed them all up and left town! No more over sized varmints running around anymore!
